Fishing  - Residents' Fishing Permits for 2010-2011 fishing season are available from the Town Council offices - proof of residency will be required before a permit is issued.  Visitor and season tickets are also obtainable - visitor & season ticket charges.   It is a requirement of the Environment Agency that you must have a valid rod licence, which can be obtained on line at www.environment-agency.gov.uk/rodlicence; at any Post Office in England and Wales or telephone 0844 800 5386.
