Abingdon Decorative and Fine Art Society
ADFAS holds a lecture in the Guildhall, Abbey Close usually every third Wednesday in the month, starting at 2 pm. The lecturers are of a high calibre, having been approved by the National Society, and the subjects are wide ranging. Through the year the Society also holds two Special Interest Days which are of a more practical nature. Day trips to galleries and exhibitions as well as longer stays at places of interest, both at home and abroad, are also organised. Annual membership costs £34 but non-members are welcome to attend up to three lectures a year as a guest at a cost of £4 per lecture.
