Save Radley Lakes
The threat to these lakes has receded slightly as other places have been found for disposal of ash. Part of Radley Lakes is now run as a nature reserve by the Northmoor Trust and a beautiful shelter has been erected by volunteers for people undertaking nature observations. Friends of Radley Lakes have been meeting the costs of the campaign to conserve this area north of Abingdon. They undertake fund-raising, a quiz, dog show and social events. These still take place in order to protect this wildlife habitat and hopefully avoid the final lake being spoilt.
