The Vale of White Horse District Council are currently appointing staff to work at polling stations for the European parliamentary elections on Thursday 23 May.

Eligibility
To work in a polling station or at the count you must be over 18.
If successful, before you start working, you will need to provide either:
- your valid passport, or
- your birth certificate and proof of National Insurance Number (eg. P60, P45, payslip, etc).
Please also note:
- Polling and count staff must not work on behalf of a candidate during an election campaign, nor be related to a prospective candidate – please see the job description for further details.
- Polling and count staff must consent to working in excess of the normal working hours provided for by the Working Time Directive.
