Wristbands available in the Market Place this Saturday

Music in the Park wristbands will be available this Saturday14th May from the Market Place (cash/cheque payments). Town councillors want to make sure that everyone has had the opportunity to hear about the event and buy their wristbands so this extra buying opportunity has been slotted in at short notice as the wristbands are selling fast. The tickets are always limited by safety considerations and this year’s sales are already well over the half way mark. This year around 30% of sales are coming through the brand-new online sales site (see below) which allows sales by credit or debit card and Paypal. Wristbands are also available Mondays to Saturdays inclusive (9.30am to 3pm) in the Visitor and Community Information Centre where payment is by cash or cheque.

The friendly local estate agent’s office in the High Street is manned by staff who are Abingdon residents and work hard to be a part of the community. “We’re also looking forward to Fun in the Park earlier on the same day” said Stewart Simpson, Sales Manager, “as we’re hoping to raise awareness and funds for our chosen charity the Amber Phillpott Trust.”
