DESCRIPTION:The Abingdon branch of Berkshire Family History Society welcome Catherine Sampson to deliver her talk ‘Royal Women’: Catherine of Aragon\, Anne of Cleeves and Lady Katherine Knollys.  This talk will explore the lives of these three women. Two well known\, one less so. \nAll survived the potentially life-threatening difficulties they faced by largely utilising strategies learnt during their own childhoods. \nTheir Berkshire connections will also be explored which\, in one case\, includes a brief sojourn at Abingdon Abbey. \nNon members are welcome at our meetings: £5 \nDoors open at 7.15 pm
