DESCRIPTION:The Bucks Radio Tour De Vale 2022 takes place on Sunday 12th June\, with 3 different routes\, all starting and ending at Stoke Mandeville Stadium\, the birthplace of the Paralympic Movement. But which route will you choose? \n\nThe family friendly 25K\nThe slightly harder 65K!\nOr really challenge yourself with the 110K\n\n  \nBucks Radio Tour de Vale FACTS  \n1 – Buckinghamshire’s biggest charity bike ride\n2 – Organised by WheelPower\, the national charity for wheelchair sport\n3 – Start/Finish on the famous Stoke Mandeville Stadium track (Birthplace of the Paralympic Movement)\n4 – The annual cycling event first took place in 2003\n5 – Three routes to choose from set along Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire country roads\, (25km/65K/110K)\n6 – Inclusive cycling event for all. From club cyclists to families\, hand cyclists to corporate teams.\n7- 2021 – 850 riders raised over £43\,000 for WheelPower\n8 – 2020 – Alternative ‘Virtual’ event took place in response to the Covid-19 pandemic\n9 – 2019 – 1\,400 riders raised over £55\,000 for the charity\n10 – Trophies awarded to highest fundraisers (team\, individual adults and under 16)\n11 – All monies raised from the Tour de Vale supports WheelPower to transform more disabled lives through sport and physical activity opportunities\n12 – Volunteers are vital to the events success. Over 150 are needed to run the Tour de Vale each year\n13 – The Tour de Vale is a professional event with chip timing\, first aid\, support vehicles\, water stops and marshals \n  \n
