Election of the Mayor of Ock Street

This Midsummer tradition after the election of the Town Mayor in May, Ock Street in June hold a vote which is counted at The Brewery Tap. From morning until night the whole day is marked, including a procession along Ock Street and a confrontation between Mayor and Mock Mayor in Market Place.
