Abingdon Traditional Craft Fair - three days

From Friday, 8th November to Sunday, 10th November10:00am-4:00pm

Now in the third year since its relaunch, this event in the Abbey Buildings has established itself as a genuine craft fair, with a range of high-quality exhibitors, many local and and some from further afield. As well as crafts on sale there are demonstrations of skills and the opportunity to try some crafts. In response to poular demand there is also an excellent marquee cafe.

Friday and Saturday 10 am to 4.30 pm Sunday 11.10 am to 4 pm (late start for Remembrance Sunday).

Profits from the event go to the Friends of Abingdon Abbey Buildings Trust for the upkeep of the beautiful Abbey Buildings in which the event is held.

NB The buildings were built by the monks of Abingdon Abbey roughly eight hundred years ago and, because of their age and the importance of the delicate architecture, they present challenges in providing modern access facilities.  Unfortunately there is no lift to the upper floors so access to approximately half of the stalls (East and West Checker, Long Gallery) is via steep staircases inside the building. The rest of the stalls are on the ground floor with ramp access.
