DESCRIPTION:The Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire\, Mrs Marjorie Glasgow\, represents The Monarch at official functions in Oxfordshire and has a Vice Lord-Lieutenant and 37 Deputy Lieutenants\, all of whom support the Lord Lieutenant in the performance of her public duties.  We are very privileged to have The Vice Lord- Lieutenant of Oxfordshire\, Mr Brian Buchan DL\, coming to talk to us about the office and work of our King’s representative.  He was appointed to this post in 2019 and is very involved with community support and outreach work encouraging children from the state sector to aspire to an Oxford University Education.  He also currently serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee of the Story Museum in Oxford and as a member of the Step Change Panel – a major funder for Oxfordshire charities. \n  \n
