Little Acorns – Half Term Activities – Nature-based play for little explorers
An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until Thursday 15th February, 2024
Our Little Acorns sessions run every school holiday and feature a variety of seasonal activities for children to discover, inspired by the natural world.
These are child-led experiences, so our tutors support and guide children, but do not direct them, to allow each child to lead their own learning while developing their curiosity for nature.
For the first Little Acorns of 2024, this February half-term, we’re celebrating British garden birds.
Your child will help our feathery friends get through the winter hunger gap by creating their very own bird feeder, to take home.
With a range of bird-related crafts and outdoor activities to explore – including a mud kitchen and water play – we’ll end the session with the group coming together for a game of ‘guess the bird song’ and a story.
