SUMMARY:Little Acorns Summertime Fun - Teddy Bears’ Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Nature-based play for little explorers\nOur Little Acorns sessions run every school holiday and feature a variety of seasonal activities for children to explore\, discover and connect with the natural world. In these child-led experiences\, our trained tutors will support and guide children but not direct them\, allowing each child to lead their own learning while developing their curiosity for nature. \nWe have three special themed Little Acorn events for the summer holidays\, all set in our beautiful gardens where we will be investigating the season\, connecting with nature through summer time craft activities and a spot of gardening. Come along and harvest vegetables from the kitchen garden and enjoy mud kitchen and water play areas. There will be crafts\, as well as all the usual outdoor activities to explore including the mud kitchen and water play. \nAnd after\, why not stay and enjoy a picnic at one of our benches and grab an ice cream and coffee from our welcome hub and make the most of the day. \nThe first event is our Teddy Bears’ Picnic:\nBring a favourite teddy bear to join in the fun as we build a shelter\, make a mud pie and serve up some summertime herbal drinks.. \nAt the end of the session we’ll all come together for a special story for all the teddies and children with an elderflower lollipop made from our elderflower trees. \nDates: Monday 29th July & Tuesday 30th July\nTime: 10-11.30am\nLocation: Earth Lab\, Earth Trust Centre\, Little Wittenham\, OX14 4QZ\nPrice: £10 per child (+booking fees)\nAges: 2-6 years (under 2s free) \nFor tickets and important information about this event: https://earthtrust.org.uk/events/little-acorns-summer/
