DESCRIPTION:The Mayor of Abingdon\, Cllr Gwyneth Lewis\, invites you to a free discussion and film night on the topic of Domestic Abuse on Friday 8th March 2024.  The event will be held in support of the Mayor’s charity\, Reducing the Risk. \nThe evening starts at 5.30pm when guests can be involved in discussions and presentations from local domestic abuse service advisors.  This will be followed by a free showing of the 1944 Oscar-nominated film Gaslight from 7.30pm. \nCollections for the Mayor’s Charity\, Reducing the Risk\, will be received throughout the evening. \nRefreshments will be available to purchase from the Abbey Cinema bar & kitchen. \nThe event is ticket entry only and these can be obtained by emailing enquiries@abingdon.gov.uk.
