Much of the research for the development of our new exhibition ‘Atomics to Medieval Knights’ has been undertaken by Mike Evans of the Fitzharris Estate Residents Association (www.fitzmanorestate.org.uk).

He will give a talk about the history of the Fitzharry’s Manor Estate in Abingdon. Originally the home of a Norman knight, Fitzharry’s was transformed through the construction of a post-war housing estate for the scientists of Harwell and their families.
