DESCRIPTION:The Arts Society Abingdon are presenting an ONLINE Webinar –   \nThe Live Webinar will start at 11.00 and again live at 14.00 . \nAugust 18th 2021 –  Dumfries House an Ayrshire Renaissance by Charlotte Rostek \n As inaugural curator\, Charlotte has played a key role in the renaissance of this heritage treasure\, transforming it from a virtually unknown secret to an established visitor experience. A vibrant former Royal residence and a leading model of heritage-led regeneration with all the ingredients of a fairy tale\, the lecture will take you on a journey from its creation to recent restoration under the leadership of HRH Prince Charles\, who saved the house for the nation in 2007. \nVisitors/non-members are very welcome to view this lecture\, cost £6.00.
