DESCRIPTION:The Yamaha Music School at Matrix Arts Centre offers engaging music lessons for 2 – 7 year old beginners: it’s ‘serious fun’! \nThe three core principles of the Yamaha Music Education System are:\n* Comprehensive music education: Including listening\, singing\, playing the piano and keyboard\, theory\, creativity\n* Timely education: Courses are specially designed to be developmentally appropriate for each age group\n* Group learning: Learning in a group – from beginner through to advanced levels – is key to the success of the courses: interacting with and learning from peers\, absorbing the musical atmosphere\, collaboration and sociability \nThese are the ‘entry’ courses at their various entry points:\n– 2 year olds: Apple Music\n– 3 year olds: Music Wonderland\n– 4 and 5 year olds: Junior Music Course\n– 6 and 7 year olds: Junior Fundamental Course \nClasses are held in term times only. New courses start twice a year: in April and November.
