Whether you’re a seasoned chess player or just starting out\, this tournament is perfect for all skill levels. \nRounds: 5 \nTime Control: 15+0 games \nSections: OPEN and JUNIOR (U16) \nPrize fund: OPEN 1st: £50. JUNIOR 1st: £25. \nLocation: Roysse Room\, Guildhall\, Bridge Street\, Abingdon\, OX14 3JD. \nPairings: Swiss System \nTimings: Players arrive at 10:00 to start at 10:15 for the first round. 1 hour lunch break at 12:00\, with drinks and snacks provided\, and prize giving at 14:10. \nThis tournament is UNRATED. Children may play in both the Open and Junior sections. (Juniors must be under 16 on the day). \nOrganized by the Junior Chess Club of One Planet Abingdon\, a centre in Abingdon focused on combating climate change.
