The final artworks will be created and installed across locations including Bridge House\, Thameside Primary School and St Nicolas Primary School. \nFree creative activities\nIntergenerational and all ages welcome\nNo experience needed\nDrop in anytime between 11am and 2pm \nCome for five minutes or stay for a cuppa and a chat \nWhether you’d like to get creative\, share a memory\, meet someone new or simply enjoy being part of something joyful\, we’d love to see you.

DESCRIPTION:Following on from last year’s Roman exhibition\, we will continue the story of the Abingdon area and its people through the Anglo-Saxon period and give a more detailed context to the significant Anglo-Saxon artefacts in the Museum’s permanent display\, such as the rare 7th century gold ring with glass bead decoration. Excavations have uncovered much about the Saxon’s presence in Abingdon\, for example the discovery of a Saxon cemetery on Saxton Road. The exhibition looks at the archaeological evidence and takes a closer look at people’s lives here in the early medieval period. \nFREE Admission
