SUMMARY:Exhibition - MGA 70
DESCRIPTION:Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the MGA\, one of the most successful MG models\, this exhibition looks at the development of the design\, the influence of speed-record breakers and experimental prototypes\, and it shines a spotlight on Syd Enever\, the ‘father’ of the MGA. \nWith memories of the MG factory still present in the town\, we hope that this will be another MG story of interest to local people and to MG enthusiasts who visit us from around the world. TO bring the story to life we will display MGA-related artefacts courtesy of the MG Car Club as well as the Museum’s collection of MG models through the ages\, from the very beginning to the 21st century. \nThe MGA exhibit will run at Abingdon Museum until the end of June 2026. Be sure not to miss it!

SUMMARY:Urban Folk Quartet with support from Anna Renae
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to welcome The Urban Folk Quartet to Harwell. \nUFQ have ignited audiences across the world with their cross-genre\, contemporary take on folk music for over a decade. \nRooted in Celtic tune forms and traditional song\, UFQ also take influence from Afrobeat\, Indian classical\, funk\, rock and a whole lot more. \nFeaturing Joe Broughton on fiddle\, guitar\, and mandolin; Paloma Trigás on fiddle and vocals; Tom Chapman on cajón\, percussion\, and vocals; and Dan Walsh on banjo\, guitar\, and vocals\, their show is a multi-instrumental spectacle of high-energy virtuosity. \nTouring with their newly released and much anticipated seventh album – True Story – expect a groove-filled set of acoustic music\, presented with infectious energy and humour. \nSupport from Anna Renae \nDoors and bar 7pm\, music at 7:40pm
