Roswell’s multi-instrumental harmony-infused sound has been likened to First Aid Kit\, Fleetwood Mac and the Indigo Girls. Winning Purbeck Rising in their first year as a band\, Roswell’s first release earned the title of Fatea EP of the Year\, and the duo went on to be named winners of the Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Competition.\nFresh from tours in Germany and France\, including a showcase at MiCannes Conference\, Roswell is currently working on their debut album which features their signature candid songwriting on themes from mental health to sibling love to real-life activist adventures at sea.\nRoswell has supported artists including Catherine McGrath\, Dea Matrona and John Smith\, and played festivals from Cambridge Folk Festival to Costa Festival lbiza. The tour for their second EP ‘Come Home’ included sold-out shows at the Green Note in London\, The Stables in Milton Keynes and The Shelley Theatre in Bournemouth.\nRoswell’s debut album was released in late in 2024. \nSupport is from Devon based Sarah Yeo. \nDoors and bar 7.00pm\, music 7.15pm

DESCRIPTION:The Grim Dark Gaming Society has been going since January 2023 and provides facilities and equipment for Science Fiction and table-top gaming. \nWe provide a space to discuss\, paint and play fantasy and sci-fi games. We also offer a safe place to play\, paint and meet like-minded people with the same interest. Beginners and experienced players are all welcome. \nThe society is a non-profit organisation made to further enjoyment of the hobby in all aspects. It is also a great opportunity for players to play games with new people and expand participants’ knowledge and passion for Warhammer and similar strategy games. Whilst these are the main games played there is always room for others and we have board games such as\, Rumble Slam\, Scythe and many more. \nThe club is based above the willows shake shop at the heart of Abingdon town centre and sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesday between 6:30pm and 10:00pm. On Saturday it starts at 10:30am and ends at 4:00pm.
