Mayor Making – Monday 13th May - Abingdon on Thames Town Council

The Annual Mayor Making ceremony and Annual Council meeting will take place in the Abbey Hall, the Guildhall on Monday 13th May 2019 at 7pm (doors open – 6.30pm, arrive early to secure a seat).

All are invited and very wecome to this important event. This marks the start of the four year term of the Council elected on 2nd May and the investiture of the Mayor of Abingdon, a post which has been filled by the town since 1556.

After the meeting there will be an opportunity to meet the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor and Councillors.
