Did the lockdown give you a chance to discover some new open spaces near you? Perhaps you found a new talent in gardening? Either way, we want to see what you have created for our Biodiversity Competition.
Abingdon Town Council are inviting residents to submit photographs of active biodiversity within the community. All age groups are welcome
This could be within your own home, school grounds, shared outdoor spaces, private gardens or window boxes. Be creative, be inventive, be different. No space too big, no space too small.
From frogs, insects, and birds to flowers and wild grass areas. Each entry we receive will serve as a visual reminder of why protecting biodiversity is so important and your photograph could end up in our Biodiversity in Abingdon Calendar 2022! So get green, get snapping, and send your photographs to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please include a short description of how you have demonstrated biodiversity in any of the spaces listed above.
1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded by the Mayor later in the year.
Please note that by sending in your entry you agree to your image being used on the Abingdon Town Council Website.
Closing date of 31st September 2021.
