The county council will be installing a number of posts across Abingdon to display speed indicator signs which the town council has purchased to help enforce the new 20mph speed limit. It is expected that the 14 new posts will be in place by the end of this week, after which the seven new signs will be installed and rotated to help remind drivers of the new limits.
The town council has supported this change to improve the wellbeing of all residents by making our roads safer, quieter and reducing pollution.
