DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome Wantage Band\, the elite\, championship section band from the Wantage Silver Band organisation\, to the Amey Theatre for a concert of eclectic music for brass band. \nRenowned as the best brass band in the area\, and placed in the top 30 in the world rankings\, there will be a range of different brass band repertoire on show for all to enjoy\, led very ably by their talented Musical Director\, Chris King. \nPupils from Abingdon School will join the band for some numbers as we showcase the brass family in both its sonic majesty and subtlety in equal measure!
