DESCRIPTION:Come along and meet the candidates standing for election in July 2024 and find out about their policies and local priorities. \nIf you would like to put a question to the candidates\, please email to the CiA Administrator at helenmac930@gmail.com or drop off at reception at Abingdon Baptist Church FAO CiA Administrator by 19 June 2024. \nPlease keep your questions as succinct as possible. A selection of questions will be chosen from all those submitted to cover as many topics as possible. \nAll are welcome and entrance is free but any donations to help towards the evening’s costs would be greatly appreciated. \nSome parking is available on site for any disabled guests but please contact the CiA Administrator to book. SUMMARY:CiA Service for the Bereaved
DESCRIPTION:A service for those living with loss. The service is an opportunity to remember\, reflect and give thanks for the lives of those we have lost. The service begins at 3 pm but the church will be open from 2.30 pm for those who would like to come and simply be quiet before the service begins. There will be hymns\, prayer\, a talk and an opportunity to light a candle for your lost one. After the service\, people are invited to a welcome cup of tea and a homemade cake and to connect with others.
