DESCRIPTION:For Artweeks 2021\, households from the Workhouse Estate have joined with the ‘Pop Up Arts Collective’ to create an arts trail in front gardens and beyond. We have made artwork in response to our theme celebrating connections as peoples\, friends and families living ‘under one sky’ despite the social and physical distancing of lockdown. \nYou are invited to take a walk along Abbott Road\, Thesiger Road\, and parts of Oxford Road\, which were all built on the footprint of the old Abingdon Workhouse. Pause for a while longer at no.30 Abbott Road\, which will be open from 10am – 4pm (excluding Weds) with more artwork displayed in the gallery space and garden.
