DESCRIPTION:please find below details on a new illustrated history talk I’m organising on the 9th of April at 5:30 pm entry from 5:15pm in the old magistrates court located in the guildhall . This talk is presented by Martin Buckland a expert in industrial archaeology and especially canals in this talk he will going through the history of the Wilts and Berks canal from how it started to how it closed and the current restoration project on the canal. This is going to be really interesting talk and definitely not one to miss. Tickets are just £6 due to venue size there is only 40 tickets available so book now before they are all gone.
