SUMMARY:Concert in aid of Ukraine Humanitarian appeal
DESCRIPTION:“Strannik” is an international trio fronted by Tatiana Soloviova on vocals and guitar\, with pianist Olga Meadows and George Haslam on saxophone. \nTatiana is a recording artist and a prize winner at several competitions including Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod\, Olga is an established piano professor and performing pianist in classics and jazz\, George is a well-travelled musician on the international and local jazz scene. \nThe trio\, formed two years ago\, has performed at several local venues and festivals. Their music is an eclectic mix of traditional songs (in Spanish\, Portuguese\, Italian\, Ukrainian\, Russian and English) within a jazzy idiom –  relaxing\, fun\, diverse and somewhat different! \nSupport on the night is from local band Superloose. \nThe musicians and venue have waived their fees and all proceeds will go to the Red Cross Ukraine appeal. \nEntry is free but donations are encouraged – either on the night (in cash or via our QR code)\, or via our JustGiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/workhouseabingdon
