Here Be Dragons – Abingdon on Thames Town Council

This weekend is Dragon Boat weekend! Not sure if the most fun is had by the excited teams paddling down the Thames for victory in the races, or by the amused spectators admiring (?) the outlandish costumes and grimacing faces of the suffering paddlers.There’s stalls, drinks tent and fun entertainments for families and it all takes place on the banks of the lovely River Thames. Good luck to all the teams and to the hard-working volunteers from Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper!
