Thank you very much for attending the Abingdon Town Council Platinum Jubilee Meadow Festival 2022. We want to ensure that this event is a success and the instructions below are intended to help everyone attending, so please follow them all.
This page is intended to bring together advice and instructions for the Platinum Jubilee Meadow Festival to help you to plan and enjoy the day. Please send any additional queries to the town council and if they are relevant to others, they will be added here. Please also check back here regularly for updates.
Timings and access
On arrival at the main gate you will be given an ‘Essential Pass’ by our security team. You will need to fill this out on arrival and display it in your car windscreen. Security will ask you to follow the onsite steward to the arena where you will be guided to your pitch to unload.
Once unloaded please return to the arena entrance and park in Exhibitor Parking.
Please ensure you drive no faster that 5mph and that you have your hazard warning lights on when driving on site.
- Exhibit set up is between 08.30am – 10.30am
- All cars must be out of the main arena and parked in Exhibitor parking no later than 10.30am
- No cars will be allowed back into the main arena until 8.30pm. If you wish to leave before 8.30pm your exhibit and equipment must be carried to your vehicle. No exceptions.
If you do need to access or leave the site when the event is open you will need to speak to the organisers to arrange to be escorted.
There will be a site office where you will be able to get help and advice if you need it.
Parking
There will be parking on site for stalls. If you do park on site you will be restricted over when you can move your car for the safety of everyone. If you do need to leave, you will need to seek advice from event staff and follow their instructions for safety reasons.
Your stall
We are unable to provide any equipment for you so please ensure that you bring everything you need including:
- tables
- chairs
- gazebo
- food and drink that you require
