Yoga evenings at St Ethelwold House Monday and Thursday
Monday Health Walks from the Leisure Centre 10.30am
Wednesday RhymeTime at the Library Health Walks, Hatha Yoga. Abingdon Library and Age UK have sessions to assist people with how to use the internet and computer literacy.
Tuesday second and fourth weeks in the month in all weathers 10.30 am led walks from Market Place (formerly on Thursdays) using the Ramblers categories of leisurely and moderate.
Saturday Story Time at the Library Park Run on Saturday morning followed by coffee on Market Place. Keep fit and keep the town beautiful with Abingdon Green Gym
Ceroc Classes Ceroc dance with beginners first and other dancers joining in later evening. Some Saturday events and every Tuesday on Ceroc website for dance nights our and other local towns.
Abingdon Freewheeling and Abingdon Cycling see the clubs directory for Tuesday, Thursday and weekend cycle rides.
Saturday home football games Abingdon Town FC Abingdon Bridge and Abingdon United FC Northcourt. Sports clubs at the Leisure Centre, Tilsley Park, Lambrick Way, Wilsham Road (canoeing, rowing, sailing clubs). Other venues are seasonal such as Cricket at the Hales Meadow ground at Abingdon bridge.
Abingdon Music Centre has Saturday classes and music for fun for children in addition to its weekday programme at Larkmead School.

Third Friday in the month – Thames Valley Farmers Market
First Tuesday in the month – Chamber of Commerce meeting
Wednesday afternoon – Abingdon Arts Society talks on a huge variety of arts formerly ADFAS one of the National Decorative and Fine Arts Societies.
Wednesday evenings – Rotarians
Second and fourth Thursdays from Market Place at 10.30 am Ramblers Walks look at the categories of walk and all the options on the Ramblers site. These carry on through the entire year even Christmas week (unless it is Christmas Day)
Friends of Abingdon Museum meets at St Helen’s Parish Centre normally first Thursday in the month at 7 pm with a programme of talks and some outings in Summer to historic places
The town’s civic society Friends of Abingdon holds its programme of events mainly in the Abbey buildings. Talks, a concert, a meal for members and open events on history plus a jazz and beer festival and a craft fair.
Abbey Chamber Concerts – A series of chamber concerts by top-quality local musicians on one Sunday each month. 3.00 pm to 4.00pm at St Nicolas Church, Market Place, Abingdon OX14 3HF
