Third Friday in the month: Thames Valley Farmers Market
First Tuesday in the month: Chamber of Commerce meeting
Wednesday afternoon Abingdon Arts Society talks on a huge variety of arts formerly ADFAS one of the National Decorative and Fine Arts Societies.
Wednesday evenings a new Abingdon Riverside Rotarians see their Facebook linked with the Friday Abingdon Vesper Rotary Club.
Second and fourth Thursdays from Market Place at 10.30 am Ramblers Walks look at the categories of walk and all the options on the Ramblers site. These carry on through the entire year even Christmas week (unless it is Christmas Day)
Friends of Abingdon Museum meets at St Helen’s Parish Centre normally first Thursday in the month at 7 pm with a programme of talks and some outings in Summer to historic places
The town’s civic society Friends of Abingdon holds its programme of events mainly in the Abbey buildings. Talks, a concert, a meal for members and open events on history plus a jazz and beer festival and a craft fair.
