Abingdon Cemetery – temporary closure to public
The Abingdon Cemeteries are now closed temporarily to the public in accordance with the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020, with effect from sunset (usual daily closing time) on Friday 3rd April 2020, the only exemption being for a funeral.
The Council regrets it has had to take this decision but the current pandemic and the measures required to slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has left the Council with no option but to take this action.
