Active Oxfordshire Support and grants
Please see the below from Active Oxfordshire:
We have some more grants and support for you to access to support your club in the current times. Active Oxfordshire, the county sports partnership in Oxfordshire, have put together information on what they can provide, who to contact, and they have produced some webinars (however we are aware these are extremely short notice). They are working with Sport Structures who will contact you directly and offer support and help for funding, coaches and safeguarding to name a few. Support information can also be found at www.activeoxfordshire.org
Sport England have also stated that the Chief Executive Tim Hollingsworth wants to hear directly from clubs as to how the coronavirus is impacting your organisation and what type of help and support would be useful now and in the future. Please email Sport England at coronavirus@sportengland.org as they will use this information now and in the next few months to support clubs.
There is further information obtainable regarding grants at https://www.svbs.co.uk/coronavirus-guidance-and-support/
There has been updated guidance on the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure grant (up to £25k) in that community amateur sports clubs may be eligible: Are Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that are eligible for Marginal Rate Relief and the Extended Retail Relief (as a leisure provider) entitled to the second scheme?
If they would have been eligible for the Expanded Retail Scheme on 11 March then they qualify. Properties that had rate discounts increased to 100% using local discretion on 11 March still qualify for the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure grant.
Clubs would need to complete a short form to receive the grant available on the links below:
