Contractors required for building works to Guildhall
The following opportunity has already been advertised in the “Oxford Times” and online in “Contract Finder “.
Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council wishes to engage a contractor to undertake building works to Abingdon Guildhall specifically:
- Removal of small toilet extension to the rear and construction of a new toilet block and Muniment Room;
- Alterations to provide powered access doors to the front reception and installation of a platform lift to gain access from the reception area to the main staircase and Old Magistrates Court;
- Repaving and associated landscaping works to Roysse Court gardens.
The works may be let as one project or as three separate projects.T
he Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors. Further details are set out in the Prequalification Questionnaire (“PQQ”) which needs to be completed by contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion on the tender list. The PQQ can obtained by emailing enquiries@abingdon.gov.uk
Site Visits – Applicants may if they wish visit the public parts of the site and Guildhall prior to submission.
Submission date for PQQ – by 12 noon, 30th June 2017.
