SUMMARY:Schubert Octet for wind and strings
DESCRIPTION:This is Schubert’s largest-scale chamber music work.  It is roughly contemporaneous with his “Rosamunde” and “Death and the Maiden” string quartets.  Schubert wrote the Octet in February 1824.
