Free advice on hand from volunteer Lucy who has a diploma in Style Coaching which combines personal styling and life coaching. Her ethos is to help clients with their body confidence and self esteem through their wardrobes. She start with a ‘styling not shopping’ ethos, seeing what they have first, what’s working for them, what’s not and then they can fill in the gaps together. She promotes secondhand options as the first option. Vintage, charity shops and swapping play a key role in tackling fast fashion. Where clients want to buy new, she suggests sustainable brands and those high street brands with sustainable qualities (and highlights the green-washing!).
