Abingdon’s town centre has plenty to offer in every season. There are shops and restaurants in the historic town centre, as well as shopping centres on the main roads into town and in local communities around Abingdon.
To save time or make sure you don’t miss some particular shops or cafes, our selection of streets and places below will help you work out what you will find. Parking is free in civic car parks during the evenings and for an hour in the day. Do make sure that you read the terms and conditions and get a parking ticket with your registration number.
Most shops have a website and many sell online. Remember that as part of the ‘Shop Local’ initiative you are keeping good traders in business by supporting the town. You can see the quality of goods and notice all the new offers, independent shops often have offers which are better value than those online.
