This section of the website is to help local residents find out more about the place in which they live, also how to access services that are available and ways of reaching organisations and institutions that are in town to help.

The town's Information acts as a reception for enquiries about our town. Currently Abingdon-on-Thames Visitor and Community Information Centre has staff available to send you information electronically and a friendly voice on the phone during the week but the office is not accepting personal callers.  Packages of print, as with menus in restaurants, can present a hazard. 

Maps and guides are on this site, It may be possible to post items to people with no smart phone or internet. 

 

 

In Abingdon-on-Thames there are still a range of places where you can get information or advice from a friendly face, not just a computer screen. Some services will have to move to telephone support during 2020 and 2021 dependng on government guidelines.
