Our vision is to develop a vibrant and attractive modern market town which celebrates its history and which people will be proud of and want to share with visitors, a town that is economically vibrant, attractive to look at and which has a lively social and cultural scene and strong community cohesion.
The town council is responsible for a wide range of services and this section of the website provides more information on these and on council meetings, committees, councillors, budget spending and the civic calendar.
Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council has an official Town Guide. An e-copy of the latest guide, published in December 2017, is available here. The information on town councillors in this guide has now changed so click here to find a town councillor.
