The Mayor and Deputy Mayor are elected annually each May.
There is one vacancy in Peachcroft ward following the resignation of the sitting Councillor in January 2023. As the vacancy arose less than six months before the next town council election on 4 May 2023, the vacancy will not be filled before this date.

Cllr Gabby Barody (Liberal Democrat) represents the Northcourt ward. She sits on the Finance, Governance and Asset Management Committee and the Environment and Amenities Committee.
She is the town council representative for The FOYER Federation and has a special link to The Abingdon Bridge charity. She is also the Parish Transport Representative.

Cllr Samantha Bowring
