Saturday 2nd April, 2022 - 10:00 am - Sunday 26th June, 2022 - 4:00 pm
The 1950s is where our story of the 2nd Elizabethan era starts, and the coronation was certainly celebrated in style, with a programme stretching over almost 2 weeks in June 1953, including an ox roast and of course a Bun Throwing.
This exhibition spans the seven decades of the Queen’s reign looking at events in Abingdon and major world events in tandem.
