The Abingdon Green Forum 2022 is a proposal initiated by Abingdon Town Cllr Gabby Barody – Chair of the Town Council Environment and Amenities Committee – as part of the councils pledge to take positive, urgent action, locally, to meet the challenges presented by the Climate Emergency declared by Abingdon-on-Thames town council in 2019 – https://www.abingdon.gov.uk/town-council/climate-emergency

The purpose of the Forum is to promote and initiate changes which will help towards carbon neutrality, reduction of waste and consumption, better general resident well-being, improving biodiversity within the town as well as a more active town.
