Mami Shikimori, local professional concert pianist will be coming to St Michael & All Angels’ Church, Park Road, Abingdon to give a recital of favourite pieces: Beethoven’s ‘Appassionata’ sonata, Tchaikovsky’s ‘Chanson Triste’, Gershwin’s ‘I Got Rhythm’ amongst others. Mami’s playing has been described as ‘Exquisite’ by the Sunday Times, and ‘Sheer Delight’ and ‘Dazzling’ by the BBC Music Magazine.
