The Wytham Genome Project group was formed in 2019 with the purpose of sequencing the full genome of each species at Wytham Woods, a key site for the Darwin Tree of Life (DToL) programme. The DToL project is an ambitious attempt to sequence the complete genome of every species of Eukaryotic organism in Britain and Ireland.
