Mend that lovely piece of clothing that you haven’t worn for ages! Don’t bin it! Simple mending jobs, patching, darning, turning up hems, can be done by our volunteers, who can show you how to do it yourself next time. No need to book, just turn up with your repair job and enjoy a coffee & chat in the cafe while you wait your turn, or browse the climate emergency displays!

IMPORTANT: ZIPS. If your zip needs replacing, please unpick the old one carefully, take it to Mason’s in Bath St and buy a replacement, then bring to the Repair Cafe. Zips take a long time to insert, so if we are busy the volunteer may need to take it home to finish. If you are new to unpicking, buy a little unpicking tool from Mason’s too, we can show you how it’s done!
