Sylvia and Nancy will be talking about their joint-publication: Not so Black and White, a compelling work of fiction inspired by Nancy’s life experiences growing up in a small village in Western Kenya, and also another Nasio publication: Cosmic Cats, an anthology of stories by children from Mumias Township Primary School in Kenya and St Swithun’s CE Primary School in Oxford. Abingdon-based charity the Nasio Trust has at its heart the empowerment of communities in western Kenya to break the cycle of poverty by providing education, healthcare, and opportunities for income-generation to create sustainable communities.
