‘Fragments to Fabric’ textile artworks by Claire Frampton
Claire Frampton takes inspiration from Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi, museum pieces at the Ashmolean in Oxford, including a reconstructed storage jar which was in the Rome Gallery, to produce her artworks. Using batik, appliqué and contemporary techniques including sublimation printing and foiling, she combines processes and media to form textures and contrasts that work together in this celebration of materials.
Location: Attic Gallery – Free Admission
There will be a FREE WORKSHOP based on this exhibition on Saturday 23 May.
