General initiatives
- Abingdon Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) – a plan based on national guidance and input to make walking and cycling easier and more enjoyable for all in Abingdon.
- The Neighbourhood Plan considers travel access and movement in Abingdon. The plan is under development and aims to give Abingdon residents some influence over planning for housing and commercial developments and the transport infrastructure that it is linked to.
- Central Abingdon regeneration framework – A vision developed by Vale of White Horse District Council with stakeholder and local input for how key areas of Abingdon town centre could be redeveloped over coming years.
- 20mph scheme in Abingdon – a speed reduction due to be introduced in 2023
- YouMove – free or low cost activities for families across the county
