Abingdon Community Hospital League of Friends
We are a group of volunteers that run events to raise funds for the staff of the Hospital in order for them to buy equipment they need to help the patients, which is not provided by the NHS. The League of Friends ACHLOF runs a popular general knowledge quiz and social events such as coffee mornings and carol singing. To support the hospital and keep services local, it is in need of more volunteer effort this year.

Formed April 1986, meeting at Northcourt Centre: 3rd Thursdays 10am.

Formed November 2003, meeting at Christchurch Hall, Northcourt Road, Abingdon: 1st Wednesdays 2pm.
WI – Abingdon Fitzharrys WI
Formed March 1966, Abingdon Fitzharrys Women’s Institute meets monthly on Tuesday afternoons at the Northcourt centre.
WI – Abingdon Evening WI
Formed June 2009, meeting at Royal British Legion, Spring Road, Abingdon: 3rd Wednesdays 8pm.
