Join us for an exciting day of chess at the Yule Chess Open! This event will take place on Sun, Dec 17, 2023 at the Roysse Room Guildhall in Abingdon, OX14. Whether you’re a seasoned chess player or just starting out, this tournament is perfect for all skill levels.

Sections: OPEN and JUNIOR (U16)

Prize fund: OPEN 1st: £50. JUNIOR 1st: £25.

Location: Roysse Room, Guildhall, Bridge Street, Abingdon, OX14 3JD.

Pairings: Swiss System

Timings: Players arrive at 10:00 to start at 10:15 for the first round. 1 hour lunch break at 12:00, with drinks and snacks provided, and prize giving at 14:10.

This tournament is UNRATED. Children may play in both the Open and Junior sections. (Juniors must be under 16 on the day).
